Front Office Update!

Beth and Dawn Sass are pleased to announced that they have reached a two-year agreement with Sass Computer Technician and Network Engineer, Emil Brown. Emil worked hard for the Sass assuring that their computers were running for the duration of the Sass season in 2006.

"Whenever [Sass Clubhouse Manager] would even mention that Blogger wasn't working properly, Emil was right there. It would often be only a matter of minutes before Blogger was working properly."

"Emil always went the extra step," Dawn said, "It was especially evident in the off-season when he took the initiative to take classes to learn New Blogger."

Joining Emil in the 2007 season will be Justin Duchschererererer, who was an unofficial assistant to Emil in 2006, but has been offered a one-year contract to work with Emil in 2007.

"We think this will be good for the team, to add another computer geek," Dawn said, "Beth added a football team in the off-season, and we really felt we needed more help."

Terms of the contract were not released but it is understood that both men have "Mrs. Guillen's cookies" in their contracts. Although it is uncertain if Carlos Guillen will be returning to the Sass, Mrs. Guillen will continue to provide Sass Stadium with cookies, and has promised she will train a new wife to bake if her husband does not make the Sass this year.

"I'm glad," said Sass reliever Matt Guerrier, "I've been told there is a strong likelihood of me joining the Sass again this year, so it's nice to know we'll have cookies again. I hope Ghetto Cub continues to be the official Sass caterer."

Front office update

The Here for the Sass team is pleased to announce that Bobbi Gobble has returned as Staff photographer.

"Bobbi Gobble did an excellent job this past year of photographing some of the great events amongst the Sass, including the excellent re-decorating of the Sass locker room," Beth Sass said, "We look forward to her continuing work."

As well as the team, the Sass fans were quite pleased with her quality of work, getting right in and getting the good pictures of both the games and the Sass behind the scenes.

"We had a lot of reports from fans being impressed with Bobbi Gobble's work," Dawn Sass said, "So we definitely hoped she would return for a second season.

Beth and Dawn also reported that talks with sportscaster Ron Johnson were "going quite well" and they expect a deal to be worked out soon.

It is strongly believed that Kat will return as Uniform Manager, and Brandon Medders has expressed interest in returning as her assistant, if she returns. The Sass have yet to contact Sarah regarding her position as Translator, but it is believed she will return, as well as Laura (Sass Secretary), and Angela (Sass Mascot Caretaker). With the Waukesha Nosaurs joining the league for the second year, it is believed Erika will happily take on her role as Sass Heckler.

There are some contract negotiations with MLB before the rest of the front office can be put in place. It is believed that Al Newman will return as the Sass Bench coach, however. Grant Balfour, who spent much time in Nice, France, last season, has agreed to officially take over as Rehabilitation Manager there. Even before accepting the position, Grant had moved from his native Sydney, Austratia, to Nice, because he enjoyed the city.

Anyone wishing to hold a position in the Sass Coaching Staff, or with the Sass Front Office should contact Beth or Dawn.

Draft Date Set

The BFL draft date for the impending 2007 season has finally been set. Saturday, March 25th at 11:00 (CST), Dawn and Beth Sass will convene, along with the 11 or so othe BFL team managers to pick and choose who will best represent the team in 2007.

"We've always been more about character than 100% about talent," Beth commented with a shrug, "we don't always do so well, but our guys have heart, and they all claim to enjoy playing for us."

No one is willing to release any names, but Beth stated with ferocity that Randy Johnson would not be returning to the Sass. No word on the return of Reed Johnson (LF) or official Sass sportcaster Ron Johnson.

New Commisioner
The BFL hopes to release a press release, but it has been verified that SBGF will not be returning as commisioner. In a meeting amongst managers to determine participation this year, SBGF wsa rumoured to say "I'll play, but I'd rather not be commissioner this year - I'm all for "Nick" doing it." No one could argue with that, so Nick of Mockball Madness was unanimously voted in.

Notice: Blogger Errors to be Fixed

Sass Computer Technician and Network Engineer Emil Brown will be out of the office this week. He is presently attending a seminar on the New Blogger, with hopes that he will be able to fix problems occurring in the new system quicker.

Presently, he is out of the office. Third Base Coach Lewww Ford and Reliever Justin Duchscherererer will be manning the IT department and fielding all issues until Emil returns.
