Breaking News: Temporary Clubhouse Manager Hired

OAKLAND -- Dawn was scheduled to come back from the DL on Thursday, and there are still reports that Beth will head out to Nice for the weekend to recover from ailments that have been plaguing her for months. However, just shortly before her plane was to take off on Thursday, doctors discovered that Dawn had not full recovered and the trainers have recommended she stay in Nice for an undetermined amount of time.

As announced to the team and management earlier, Clubhouse Manager Rach will report to Nice for the 15-day DL on Sunday, due to seasonal allergies. She is expected to return in two weeks, but there is no timeline for return. Trainers say that depending on the pollen conditions, she may be back sooner or later.

In the meantime, the Sass advertised for a temporary position as Clubhouse Manager to fill in for Rach. After sifting through the mounds of letters and resumes, one candidate stood out. KatHarriet will be filling in for Rach during her upcoming stint on the DL in Nice.

"Kat's resume was fantastic. Once we read hers it became quite obvious we had found the woman for the job. We're very much hoping that she'll accept another position on the Sass when Rach returns. For now, we'll appreciate the help," Beth said. Kat would also need to take on the duties of a manager if Beth were to be sent to Nice. The Sass trainers are concerned, but optimistic, that Beth will be able to avoid the DL.

Dawn, phoning in from Nice, said she was quite pleased with the hiring. She was then interrupted by Tomo Ohka returning with her mojito and a new Ben Folds CD and the call was abruptly ended.
